Dag's Big Day (A Bugville Jr. Story)

Dag Dragonfly has planned the busiest, most exciting day imaginable—a race with Buster Bee, books at the library, a family visit to Pier Number One, and a cheerful picnic. Determined to be first at everything, Dag moves so quickly that he misses baby birds, hidden pictures, and the joy waiting inside each activity. When Dag's little sister needs him on a creaky pier, the speedy dragonfly makes an important choice: he turns around. By slowing down, listening, and staying beside the bugs he loves, Dag discovers that a wonderful day is not measured by how fast it is finished, but by the moments everyone shares.
